the frist museum

It can be hard to get everyone in the same place, at the same time. So in the spirit of the holidays, we had a family outing yesterday. We all met at the Frist Museum to see the Birth of Impressionism from the Musée d'Orsay. Even the baby got a little dose of culture. Little nugget had the best seat strolling around and gazing up. The exhibit is seriously incredible and if you live in town, ya just have to go. Nashville is mighty lucky to have scored this exhibit. It's one of only 3 host cities worldwide.

And before you leave… There's also a Chihuly exhibit upstairs you can run through!

  1. If more beautiful snow is needed for your wall, how about letting an artist paint it for you. This tranquil picture, by American painter at the turn of the 20th century, John Henry Twachtman, http://EN.WahooArt.com/A55A04/w.nsf/OPRA/BRUE-8DP7S7 , is an example of many others to be found at wahooart.com that can be ordered online from as a canvas print of any size to be delivered to your door.
